*** CUSTOMER ALERT*** VIN Numbers on UK Caravans
Every Caravan produced for the British Market since 1992 has a UNIQUE number on the Chassis/Axle/and Windows
The important digit is No.10. This denotes the year of Series. (Age of Caravan)
Please look up this important information here:

The rest of the information is about Country of Manufacture, Manufacturer, Model Range, and serial Number.
There are a significant number of dealers in NZ importing Caravans, and falsely registering the units as being younger than
their actual age. If these are mistakes, then curious that the age registered in NZ is NEVER older.
This practice is probably criminal.
Also the VIN number is a clue to the previous history of that used caravan or motorhome. Very many units have been shipped here, which
were total Insurance writeoff's after the big UK floods last year, and the year before, and the year before that.
Very hazardous if any unit was flooded with water contaminated with sewerage.
